I started seeing Velvet last year during the hardest time of my life. I’ve been in traditional CBT therapy for years and I’ve never progressed as quickly in my recovery as I have when I started working with Velvet. ERP therapy is the only type of therapy that has actually helped. Three months in and the pieces are finally coming together to solve this OCD puzzle. Am I “cured”? No. Of course not, but I sure can handle my obsessions much better by just sitting with them, as opposed to getting tricked into my compulsions. OCD is an evil repetitive cycle and I finally have some tools to break that cycle.
